Dr. Diana McLaughlin is the most amazing doctor. She found a Heart problem on my baby when he was just 2 months old. My baby had heart surgery and is now doing very well. The heart specialist told me that most pediatricians would not be able to detect my baby’s heart condition until they were much older. They told me to always stay with Dr. McLaughlin because she is very special. I agree. She is awesome. Dr. McLaughlin will always be my baby’s pediatrician.
You are the best office in Naples! I just had my second baby. Dr. McLaughlin has been my older son’s pediatrician for 3 years. She always saw my child on the same day I call. And she is very careful. So, when I took my five day baby girl to her, she checked her so well that she found a broken collarbone. The hospital had missed that fracture 3 days. Now I can take of my baby’s arm and make sure that she is not in pain. Dr. McLaughlin and her staff always do the best job.
Dr. McLaughlin is excellent. My baby had a high fever and I took her to the ER. They told me she had a bacterial infection and gave her a shot. She needed 2 more shots of antibiotics for the infections. I went to Dr. McLaughlin the next day and she had the same shot in her office as in the ER. Amazing!!! I was able to get the medicine my baby needed without having to return to the ER. Dr. McLaughlin took care of me and my baby for 3 straight days. Now my baby is doing fine. Dr. McLaughlin and her staff made everything so easy. I don’t know of any other pediatrician in Naples that can do that. I am so grateful to be cared for by Dr. McLaughlin and her staff.
Dr. McLaughlin has the best office in town. My child is always seen on the same day when my child is sick. Dr. McLaughlin and her staff is cautious and loving with my child. Dr. Mc made sure my child got a nebulizer machine right away. She also took the extra step to call for a specialist referral herself and saved me months of waiting. Those other ugly comments are from haters. They are probable mad because they are not part of the best pediatrics office in Naples.
Dr. McLaughlin is the best. I know Dr. Mc for 15 years. She has taken good care of my 2 girls all their lives. She always returns my phone calls, takes care of my children on the same day they are sick. She has help them control their asthma. I completely trust Dr. McLaughlin.
Dr. Diana McLaughlin is a wonderful, caring Pediatrician. She took great care of my daughter, spent the perfect amount of time during our appointment and did not rush out of the room. She is extremely smart, and asked lots of questions. Dr. McLaughlin even took the time to listen to all of my concerns about my daughter. I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends.
I am amazed at her knowledge and her bedside manner with every visit. I would highly recommend Dr. McLaughlin for anyone seeking competent, friendly and thorough care for their children. She is one in a million, especially in this day and of lackluster healthcare.
I'm perplexed by the number of poor reviews for Dr McLaughlin. My children have been her patients since birth with the eldest now being 17 years old. I have never felt I was spoken to condescendingly nor have I ever felt rushed through my appointment. I have always been asked questions to further understand why my child was in that day and my answers listened to before and during the exam. There have been times when we did not agree on the best course of action with one of my children. She has always respected that I was the parent and the final decision was mine on treatment. My only grievance has been the wait time. It can be long however even that I feel reflects back to the not being rushed in the exam room. If Dr McLaughlin is taking all the time I feel I need with her to discuss my children then she is also taking that time with others. For me it is a trade off I am more than willing to make. I have not encountered issues with making same day appointments and certainly not an issue with an emergency appointment. One of the reasons that I feel so strongly positive about her has been her availability to my children in after hours situations. I have never been told that it's the evening or the week-end and she is unavailable and I should take my children to urgent care, that she is "off duty". My calls were/are returned in a reasonable amount of time and I have not been made to feel that I was "bothering" her with my after hours call. She has listened to my concerns and either made a diagnosis herself or recommended a referral if she felt that it was in my child's best interest to be seen in person. Her staff has treated my children and myself courteously overall. Everyone has a bad day and I'm unwilling to say her staff is rude just because at some point over 17 years there have been instances that one of them was perhaps not the friendliest. I have recommended her throughout the years and have no qualms about continuing to do so. She is the only pediatrician that my children have seen and I cannot imagine taking them anywhere else.
