This organization recently bought this practice from the previous Group, Dental Group La Sierra, the name remains unchanged. This new group began to call all the old clients, to solicite new business. What they do not do, however, is accept the liabilities inherent with any business purchase. After numerous conversations with several of their employees, they all agreed that I should recieve some financial consideration for the shoddy work performed by the prior dentist. All this work was performed less than two years ago. All of the fillings washed away leaving the ,now, unprotecred teeth to rot and erode away. One such fiasco now requires a root canal and a $500 crown (this is the cheap sort). All agreed to compensate me for the damage done, yet, when sitting in the Dental Chair, they acted as if it had never been discussed. They are also very free with your time, unreasonable waits are the norm. In one case a Dentist with the personality of a fence post made me wait 30 minutes until a nurse was freed up to take his dictation. Simply entering the information himself would have save us all time. I suppose he was taught in Dental School that Doctors (Dentist) don't do such mundane things, they are to be assisted, no matter how the patient is inconvenienced. Please understand that this letter was not written as an emotional responce, it is simply an accurate account of a Dentist soliciting a client base, with absolutely no intention of correcting the shoddy work done there in April and May of 2007. I strongly suggest that you reconsider an appointment with this Dental Group.
