WARNING!!! Avoid Elite Dental Associates (Redlands CA). If you still go here, get a second option before allowing them to do any dental work. The dentist (Lisa Beckley) said I needed a “special” cleaning and that it would cost me $173 over what my insurance pays. I asked them to perform the regular cleaning that my insurance covers and they refused saying it, “didn’t meet the standard of care.” So no cleaning is better? They also said I needed another $245 dollars (after what my insurance pays) for a cavity and to redo two fillings that were already redone. I refused the work sensing they were trying to up charge me and got a second option somewhere else. After having Elite Dental send my x-rays over the new dental facility, the new place said I had no cavities, there was no need to redo the two fillings, and that a regular cleaning was all that I needed. Wish I would have read the reviews before going here because it looks like others have the same experience. Consider yourself warned if you still go here…

Poor service. Overpriced. Questionable integrity and ethics . Though my insurance company confirmed the dental proceedures were covered and there was no copay, Elite Dental got creative and dropped a few proceedures into another billing category so that I would have to pay a portion out of pocket. I was told to go somewhere else if I didn't like the way they do things.

I'm very disappointed with this office. My entire family has been clients for the last four years and over that time I have become more and more dissatisfied with the service. One major thing that happened was that Dr. Beckley told me that I needed a crown on one tooth. It was quite costly so I needed some time to save up my money. In the mean time, since my husband would also need a lot of expensive work done, I took out an Aflac dental policy that would give us back some money after the procedures. I waited the allotted time for the policy to be effective and went back in. All of a sudden Dr. Beckley said the tooth didn't need a crown and she "wasn't quite sure why she would have diagnosed that in the first place." That made me have a lot of doubts about other things she said needed to be done. I did need to have some cavities filled though so I went ahead and had those taken care of. Aflac would also give me back some money for those. I requested a detailed receipt and was told only the office manager could print one and she would not be in until the next day. I was told it would be mailed to me. It never was. I gave the office my paperwork for Aflac for them to fill out. I waited for my check in the mail. When it didn't come I became worried and called Aflac. Apparently Elite Dental's office manager filled out the paperwork, requesting Aflac to pay them instead of me, even though I already paid my bill and the money was supposed to be mine. She also cashed the check and never notified me. I called the office to request a check be sent to me and was told the office manager would be in the next day. The next day I called and they said she would be out for over a week. I said that was unacceptable because I had been waiting for over a month for my money and I needed it now. They said there was nothing they could do. There was nobody who could handle the issue except for her. They requested a check be sent to them that belonged to me, cashed it, and refuse to send me my money until she comes back. She is always out and doesn't follow through on most things and what she does follow through on is handled incorrectly. The level of professionalism is appalling!

Definitely not! It was obvious they just wanted to make money!
