She's not into the modern age of thinking, that's for sure. It's a pretty old fashioned solo practice and she's pretty rigid about her protocol. I am of the mindset that it's my body and I'm there to gain valuable information and expertise, but I still should be able to call the shots. She's very old-school in that she's the doc, she knows best, it will be done her way. Not a good fit if you want to be a consumer of health care, probably a great fit if you want an intimate relationship with your dr. so you can trust her completely to make decisions in your best interest.

This provider has very little helpful information available online, and what they do have is hard to find. They didn't tell me very much about my treatments' risks and benefits. I still felt like I had to do my own research. I definitely think that I could have gotten much better service somewhere else. Dr. Rubin's one solution that would somehow magically cure all my problems was "Lose weight." It's the only thing she really spent any time talking about, and she kept returning to it. It was not in any of my questions or concerns that I brought up, all of which she responded to very minimally--mostly with saying all of those things would be fixed if I lost 40 pounds. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. They are warm and professional. I went in to discuss birth control for the first time and Dr. Rubin was very knowledge, helpful and answered all my questions.
