My first visit to Dr. Emmel for cataracts revealed that one eye was ready for surgery. During the eye measurement phase prior to surgery, Dr. Emmel spent considerable time meticulously determining the exact measurements, which turned out to be a bit of a challenge due to a severe astigmatism The operation was scheduled, and Dr. Emmel skillfully and patiently removed the cataract and implanted a special lens that corrected my astigmatism. The aftercare visits were thorough, my eye completely healed with no complications, and my vision in that eye is now better than 20/20. I look forward to similar success in the future when my other eye is ready for surgery, and I highly recommend Dr. Emmel to anyone who requires cataract surgery.

I will definitely recommend them to people I know. The waiting room here is spacious. Staff are pleasant and helpful. When I left my appointment I was so pleased with my experience that I knew right then I would recommend them to everyone I know. There is a long waiting period to obtain an appointment, the down side of a successful, busy practice
