I was scheduled for an procedure after being referred by another doctor. I arrived in a great deal of pain and told them that when i got to the office.
"Dr" Hutchinson looked at me, asked me my age - which was on the chart already, said i was too young for this procedure and that it would be too expensive. he said to "put some vaseline on it" and sent me away. my condition worsened over the next few weeks, but i had already taken a day off of work and couldnt afford another. then i started getting bills, for the procedure that never happened. i was charged $275 for being told to use vaseline after a 1.5 minute conversation.
when i called to ask them about this bill, they said that if i didnt pay it they were sending it to collection. finally I spoke with another person who said that they changed computer systems and that they had no record of my visit. I just found out today, 3 years later that they sent me to a collection agency and have been reporting this as a debt on my credit report. They should be ashamed of themselves.
