SHOULD NOT PRACTICE MEDICINE! I was in a lot of pain during my visit that I feel could have definitely been avoided if they had been more careful. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. She is rude, doesn't answer questions and performed an invasive test that was completely unnecessary which I was billed a high co-pay for and who knows how much she charged my insurance. It is impossible to reach any billing staff. I question how she got her degree.

I almost never write bad reviews but I have to agree completely with the other reviewers. I had an awful experience. Aside from the fact that everyone is rude, Dr. Claus just doesn't seem interested. Barely spoke to me or asked questions. Was not helpful at all with the questions I asked her. Made a snide remark about getting tested for STD's that was completely inappropriate. On top of that, they billed me for a copay that doesn't even apply and I have been trying to get a hold of someone in billing to get a refund. No one answers. When I asked the office if there was a certain time I should call to get a live person on the phone, she said rudely, "That is the number you have to call. You have to leave a message and they are checked from "time to time"". Wow, how about you do your job ALL the time and not when you just feel like it.

She charged for services that she said she wouldn't perform and then sent the bill to collections without any notice or opportunity to send a payment in good faith. She cares more about getting my money than providing health care to her patients. She accepts very limited insurance coverage and charge 3 times the average rate for her services. Then if you can't pay, she drops you as a patient, send the bill to collections and holds your medical records hostage.

I did not feel safe with her at all. I was scared that something was going to go wrong. The chairs in the waiting room were pretty standard I suppose. They served their purpose while I was waiting, but it would have been nice if they were a little more comfortable.

The parking situation at their office was ridiculous. I ended up having to pay for parking because there were no spots available near the office.

I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me. They were extremely late to all my appointments. I always had to wait over an hour for them to show up. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. It is impossible to get an appointment at their office. They are always booked and have a long waiting list. I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through.

My wife has seen Dr. Claus twice over the past three months and has experienced problems on both occasions. Each time, Dr. Claus took fluid samples, sent them to a lab, and had an assistant phone orders to a pharmacy.

On the first visit, the assistant did not communicate to us that she ordered two pharmaceutical products for my wife. As the pharmacy only delivered one, she mistakenly proceeded with a treatment which is only effective with both products. This wasted considerable time in actually treating my wife’s issue.

On the second visit, Dr. Claus again prescribed two products. One product was to be taken over three nights, then the second was to be taken for several days. When she called us, the assistant indicated that my wife should be feeling better after one day. As my wife did not feel any better after one, two or three days after taking the first product, and another doctor recommended against taking the second product, we waited 3-4 days to see if her symptoms improved. When they did not, we called the doctor's office three times over 24 hours, leaving messages with the assistant each time. On the third call, her assistant notified us that the doctor had left the office (without calling us).

While the assistant insisted on conveying Dr. Claus's comments to us, she does not understand the issues whatsoever and is not qualified to treat my wife anyway. We have always been polite with Dr. Claus and her staff and paid our bills in full for each visit. I am not sure why Dr. Claus would refuse to return our calls and insist that we only deal with her assistant.

Obviously, we will not be returning to see Dr. Claus in the future and have already booked an appointment with another OB/GYN.
