My baby could have died because they refused to take my concerns seriously. YOU CAN'T SUE THEM BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY HAVE A TERRIBLE PRACTICE AND REQUIRE YOU TO AGREE TO ARBITRATION. They have a rating of 2 on several sites. Don't go. Unless you want to end up in a hospital for 4days with untreated infection because you never see a doctor, only nurse practitioners. And if by chance you do see a doctor after 20weeks or so, be prepared to be thoroughly ignored.

Dr. Farid spends all the time needed to explain things to me, give me all my options and address my concerns. I am not seeing him for a pregnancy but for menopause, hormone issues and an upcoming hysterectomy. I feel confident in him and his staff. Some of the front desk girls are less than pleasant, but the older staff are super helpful.

I pay to have insurance and this place takes every insurance under the sun- including the trash on well saying that every person on government assistance is trash but the people here were! Couldn't believe my eyes and ears at a couple of the patients in the lobby area. I will be going to my primary and demanding a referral elsewhere. I had a copay in which I wasn't able to pay because they only take cash/check. I didn't have any cash on me (who does these days) and sorry but my generation doesn't write checks. So the woman at the front desk said that I could come back anytime after my appointment. Went on vacation and it completely slipped my mind until a couple weeks later and when I called to confirm my copay amount the young receptionist was a little brat. She asked me if I had been told at the time of my appt what my copay price was. Ummmm why would I be calling and asking if I knew what the amount was? Duh.
She said that she would pull my file and get back to me which never happened.
Luckily the dr. that I had my appt with was very patient- Didn't feel rushed, she answered all of my questions, did a pelvic exam. She seemed a little young though which is slightly unsettling.

MUST READ:
Notice how "Anonymous" reviewers never give anything less than 4.5 stars and great customer satisfaction ratings. Thats probably because it's one of the 20 Medical Assistants who are filling out the surveys. It's not like they're busy with pointless things like answering phones, getting files, cleaning the restroom, or locking up the office. FYI they forgot to lock up the office- I just walked in thinking it opened early- not so. Has anyone actually had their baby delivered by Dr. Farid lately? Because to me, Dr. Farid, looks like the invisible man. I NEVER met the man- and thats ok, I would have chosen one of the five Dr.s that they currently have rotating patients like pancakes on a Saturday morning, but just ONE for Pete's sake. 48 hours to complete paperwork?- not really try 3 weeks ladies. EDD tells me they still have not received my paperwork from this office. When I called to check the status-getting someone on the line took 10 minutes on hold. So I had to go in person as I kept getting placed back on hold. Once there- they checked my chart and the papers were still there- blank. UNBELIEVABLE, UNRELIABLE, RIDICULOUSLY LOUSY at doing the most basic of things. So, if you are looking for an OBGYN in the Antelope Valley area, please save your self the headache and go somewhere else. Seriously, go somewhere else.
