SHE'S A GREAT DOCTOR, WENT IN FOR A PHYSICAL, PAP AND ALL. SHE IS A FUNNY, AND CARING DOCTOR. SHE TOOK HER TIME ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS. THE ONLY THING I WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT IS THE WAIT TIME.

This is directed at the Nurse Practioner.... I never get any straight answers... I've been into the office with 2 different problems and neither of them were resolved. I was only rescheduled to come back in 2 weeks only for them to tell me what I had already told them prior. Now I'm out another co-pay and no resolution. All they could say is "Maybe it's this" Maybe it's that" well "maybe" doesn't cut it. Both issues I had to resolve on my own with home remedies. What are you being paid for??? I sure hope that in a serious illness you know what it is and what to do about it. Also I'm not happy about the NP coming into the exam wearing sandals. Last time I checked it's a health violation to wear open toed shoes in a medical office. If someone were to call OSHA that office would be shut down. If the girls at the front desk are on break or on their lunch don't expect them to acknowledge your exsistance. They will look right at you and completely ignore you while gossiping about whatever is going on in their lives... inappropriate conversations about relationships, occasionally spitting out profanity. Dr Laughlin is great doctor... it's the staff that needs to be educated on office etiquette and HIPAA compliance.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. I found the office, but only because I had simple, very clear directions. I wish it had been easier to locate. If I were in some kind of an emergency I'd go back. Otherwise, I'm going to look for something better. I like Dr. Laughlin and her PA Paul, but the nurse had long acrylic nails that curved under and had charms hanging from them. She didn't wear glove and she let an unexperienced nurse administer a needle to my child and that nurse poked him about 3-4 times because he didn't know the proper way to administer that injection. the nurse with the nails was also heavily tattooed which wouldn't matter if she had done everything else right, but she also administered the shots to my child very slowly which has been proven to be much more painful to children. Unfortunately, this is nurse was not very good. I would give her a C-, or D+ for poor judgement on the nails, tats, no gloves and letting the inexperienced nurse administer a test that he was obviously not equipped to do. Dr. Laughlin, PA Paul and front office get an A. the 2 nursed a D. that is a C+. I would say everyone at the office counts! Hire carefully the weakest link can bring a good office down.
