They were kind of friendly, but I wasn't very impressed. I was recommended to this doctor by my PCP to investigate long term genitourinary pain. After 2 appointments, he determined I should have a cystoscopy (known as an unpleasant experience). He performed it using an old-fashioned and very painful, rigid instrument. All the time he chattered to the nurse/assistant about some new honor he was about to receive (he is well regarded by his peers apparently). Only the nurse made the procedure somewhat bearable. His eventual diagnosis was that there was nothing wrong! He forgot to send the report to my PCP. I visited another urologist later who was able to provide a quite different diagnosis and successful treatment without cystoscopy. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend them to my friends or family.
