Dr. Burton has been the primary physician for me and my family for more than 25 years. He is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. So much so that I have had other medical specialists tell me that I should be very thankful that Dr. Burton recognized my symptoms and sent me to the specialist immediately or I could have had serious consequences and that too may family doctors would not have diagnosed the problem like Dr. Burton did.

He is very kind, respectful and really cares about your well-being. His staff is wonderful as well. Obviously, I would highly recommend Dr. Burton.

The staff are rude and incompetent. They speak to you at the window about the reason you're visiting in front of all the other patients in the waiting room. Once I showed up for an appointment booked the week before but they had no record of it and turned me away without letting me see a doctor.

They close early on Thursdays and are closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

It's always a battle to get perscriptions refilled. They've send a "patient unknown" response to my pharmacy more than once, and you always have to play phone tag with them for days on end.The doctors want you to come in every month for "re-evaluation" if you have an ongoing condition, but they don't ever ask questions or do tests once you are there, they just hand you a refil script. I can't afford to take off work every month and pay a co-pay for a visit on top of my perscription costs.

It takes weeks of badgering to get test results.

They always mispell my name and have trouble finding my records.

The nurses are horrible at drawing blood and giving shots.

The waiting room is small and cramped. I always have to sit elbow to elbow with coughing sick people. The chairs are old and made of fabric so they're giant germ sponges... and everything is covered in dust.

You have to call at least a week in advance to get an appointment and they don't work with your schedule at all. Then you have to wait in the lobby for an hour past your appointment time because they always over book. Then it's another thirty minutes in the exam room, and finally a whopping two minutes with the doctor.

I really hate this place. My condition isn't even that complicated, and I don't need pain medicines. I just take a daily prevenative for migraines.
