Dr. Syms changed my life! From the very first appointment a year ago when, after thoroughly evaluating my hearing issues, he clearly explained my disease (otosclerosis) and resultant hearing loss, Dr. Syms performed two surgeries on my ears to the point where I no longer need hearing aids and enjoy "normal" hearing again! The office is incredibly organized and pleasantly friendly. Dr Syms always began with, "Do you have any questions?" and when I was about to go into surgery with him, he kindly calmed me down with encouraging, positive words. I have recommended this miracle worker to my family and friends with hearing issues. One year ago, I had been wearing hearing aids for two years in my young 40s. I am a teacher, so hearing issues are catastrophic. By the end of my first appointment, I was scheduled for my first surgery, was followed through pre-op, surgery, and follow-up appointments. Today, my life is changed & better due to the expertise, technique and kindness of Dr. Syms! Thx!

Dr. Syms is one of the best doctors I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of them in my time. He preformed my surgery and I had no complications. He let me know that there was only a 40-60% chance it was going to work (which it did not) but I was still full of hope. Now if you are looking for a doctor with some bedside manners, search elsewhere because he has NONE. But if you are looking for one of the best doctors in the field, you have found the doctor you didnt even know you were searching for.

Dr. Syms is an excellent ENT. He takes the time to really talk to the patient and answer every question. You never feel rushed at this doctor's office. I will absolutely return and recommend this office and doctor to anyone with ear issues.
