I went for a consultation for the hCG diet. After they gave me the cost for the hCG prescription everything else was an additional cost. All the supplies ie. food scale, vitamins were all an additional...even the follow up visits. As for the hCG, they only had it available in the nose spray or the cream. Neither of which have the potency of the injections. Your follow up with the consultants every week are even an extra charge. I really felt as if I was sitting with a high pressured sales person. After leaving there I was looking on line and found a website offering the diet called Diet Doc. I called them and the cost was half the amount of Sylvana. They even had the injections and you do everything over the phone. You speak to a doctor, then a nutritionalist that helps you with your food and they have a support team that calls and emails you to make sure you don't have questions or concerns. And the best thing is their diet has you eating 800 calories instead of the 500 calories with Sylvana Institute. I've been on the diet for 18 days and I've lost 11 lbs. Don't waste your money with Sylvana. Diet Doc is literally half the price and more convenient...everything over the phone and the quality of the injections is excellent. I highly recommend this diet and Diet Doc.
I have been a client of the Sylvana Institute for Medical Aesthetics for several years, and have received a number of different aesthetic services (they are a medical aesthetics institute, not a dermatology clinic). In any case, Dr. Jeanne O'Connell is an artist in using Botox, SmartLipo and Radiesse to achieve wonderful results - without surgery. She also keeps on on the latest techniques, and is ahead of institutes in the Baltimore and D.C. areas. And Kateri DeLaney has researched all of the newest cosmeceuticals and recommends only those that really work. Those products have really improved my skin!
And the entire staff is very warm and welcoming. I really enjoy every visit!!
