I had bunions removed on both feet, I went through it great he's a great Dr. and its very important to take therapy after when he tells you. He is the best.

The wait times are way too long for an appointment, and the doctor is always running at least an hour behind. It's ridiculous to try to get someone to answer the telephone. As a clinical matter, however, everyone puts up with it because Dr. Silverstein is the best I've seen.

I needed a second opinion on possible surgery and received a recommendation from another doctor at Hartford Hospital. Unfortunately, my experience was tainted by being left in the waiting room for almost an hour with no explanation for the delay and then waiting in an exam room for 30 minutes, again with no explanation. In both instances, I had to go find someone to ask why I was being ignored. Not a great first impression with the staff!
Once the doctor finally came in, he was apologetic for the wait. He clearly explained my options and seemed very knowledgable and competent but he also seemed quite stressed and rushed.
I hope that if I decide to have him do my surgery, that I will have a much better experience with surgery and follow-up visits than my first office visit.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.
