I just got off the phone with the office manager Joanne. I was disputing a charge for a 2 min. follow up visit that was billed for $130. After back and forth discussion on how this is standard etc.. and me explaining that I can't afford that and was under the impression it would be part of my initial $300 charge... and wouldn't have gone back for a follow up had a known. She basically said "well if your health isn't that important to you then you shouldn't have come back" and if you did you should have asked about the charges! So basically no compassion for a difficult financial situation and blamed me for not thinking to ask about the charge prior to my visit! I have felt talked down to and not understood at all and I"m shocked b/c my family had been seeing Dr. Anderson for years!
