I went to Dr. Silverman as my scalp was itching terribly. I waited 3 weeks for an appointment. I went. He examined my scalp and assured me that I did not have lice and then prescribed me shampoo and a lotion for treatment. Turns out I DID HAVE LICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am furious that he misdiagnosed me. Charged me $50 copay and $30 for useless shampoos and lotion plus he is getting paid by insurance. For what ??????????????????? NOTHING!

I had been to Dr. Silverman for a second opinion on a growth on my cheek that I inquired about witha Dr. Walczyk of Manhasset, but it was quickly dismissed by Silverman. I also did not have a check of skin on my legs or back. It felt like I was in an express lane at the supermarket. In quick, out quick. Some of these doctors should stop playing the body shop game and stop the meter from running. Will NEVER go hear again and will NEVER recommend to anyone. Walczyck was way more thorough.
