If there were zero stars that's what I would give Dr.Garbus and his staff. I had a colonoscopy on 5/14/14 Unfortunately, I did not receive the prep instructions at an adequate time frame. I ate a big meal the day prior not knowing I was not allowed to eat, because I didn't receive any prep instructions. For this reason, I work up from the colonoscopy procedure covered in feces in addition to, I had a vowel movement in the recovery. However, I was not allowed to go to the restroom while covered in feces! Worst experience ever safe yourself grief and embarrassment along with unnecessary top dollars charges for bottom dollar patient service.
Their staff was not friendly in the least; the wait was more than two hours. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. Their equipment was current, nothing special though. I wish they would take responsibility for their mistakes. I comprehend that we all make mistakes. However, Dr.Garbus and staff an apology for your inadequate patient treatment would have been etiquette!

Unfortunately, as good a surgeon as he may be. As comfortable as he may make his patient feel. As many jokes as he may tell to put you at ease. All is for naught - when you call him everyday for a week - as you've been advised he has your test results. AND HE NEVER RETURNS YOUR CALL. And then to add insult to injury - when you try one last time on Monday morning - when the promised call on Friday NEVER came - The receptionist who answers the phone says - oh yes! he's left message. Your results are benign. He doesn't even have the courtesy to call you himself or advise his staff to call you. You had to chase after him yet again. Will never return. Will never recommend. And will tell everyone who wants to listen NEVER to use this physician.
