I agree with previous reviewer. I was not impressed with bedside matter. Think twice - not only because of bedside matter, but because there is a special code that is used to charge the insurance company for surgery, on your first visit for fractures, that leaves you with a $110 bill - payable to Demuth, whether or not you continue treatment after the first visit. At no time was I informed I would be paying $110 plus co-pay ($150 total) for a 15 minute, initial visit, especially when money is tight with COVID19. I paid the $110 because collections was involved, and it would cost more than $110 to get an attorney. *Now I know why health insurance is so high. * I regret 100%+ going to see Demuth for many reasons.

Warning!!! Went to see Demuth for shoulder and hip pain after a fall. He was very arrogant and briefly discussed some exercises for my shoulder. I questioned him concerning my hip when he stated "Oh no, this is a one stop, one shop". I stated "your taking advantage of my insurance" when he walked out of the room stating "you can always go see another doctor". I believe this is a form of insurance fraud and causes additional copays for patients.

I will give the doctor one star because he did actually put his hands on my knee during the examination, but that's where it ends. I went to see Dr. Demuth because of a great deal of pain I was/am having in a knee that had a total knee replacement done. Because of my insurance situation, I was not able to see the surgeon who performed the surgery in Delaware. Dr. Demuth simply looked at the X-rays I had done, manipulated my knee and said, "X-rays look fine and the you have good range of motion." I repeated that I have been in constant pain since the surgery almost a year ago, and he simply repeated that my X-ray was fine and my range of motion was good. I began to feel a rage at this point, because it was obvious that he had no intention of listening to my concerns. I kept telling him that the problem wasn't the joint, but the muscles, ligaments, and tendons around the joint. He refused to do anything about any of that and told me to look up a surgeon who specializes in fixing botched surgeries. I told my primary care doctor that and he told me there is no such surgical specialty. Basically, Dr. Demuth just told me that to get me out of his office because he didn't take my injury seriously.
