Dr. David Harrell performed a Nissen fundoplication and hiatal hernia repair mid October, 2014. After 3 days (post op) I was walking in my neighborhood. After just 10 days, my walking had increased by 5X's and I was put on solid foods. No problems, at first I did have a sore stomach but nothing like I had thought it would be. I highly recommend Dr. David Harrell. He and his staff were excellent, they couldn't have done anything any better. I no longer take medications for acid reflux and fill I swallow better and even breathe better than before my surgery!
