I FEEL THAT DR. MCCORVEY IS A VERY UNCOMPASSIONATE DOCTOR AND I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE WOULD LET ONE OF HIS PATIENTS SUFFER WITHOUT MEDICINE, FOR A SURGERY THAT HE PERFORMED AND A MISTAKE THAT SOMEBODY ELSE MADE. I EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS ALL JUSTIFIABLE AND HE COULD CHECK INTO THE SITUATION AND HE DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR IT. VERY UNPERFESSIONAL. I AM TRANSFERING MY CARE TO THE ARNOT OGDEN WOUND CARE CENTER WHERE I BELEIVE I WILL BE TREATED AS A HUMAN. NOT SOME ONE HE CAN JUST MISTREAT. THANK YOU
My son (age 10) fell on memorial day and sliced his nose very badly. Dr. McCorvey was called into Corning Hospital to treat him. He is a very attentive, caring doctor with a great sense of humor. It made a difficult situation easier with his care and attention. At the time of surgery he even removed a suspicious mole on my sons face (by coincidence, we were scheduled to see him 2 weeks later for that)so he wouldn't have to be put under a second time. Seven months later my 3 year old daughter was referred to him by her PCP to examine a birthmark she felt was suspicious. Dr. McCorvey recommended that it be removed as this type of birthmark can turn to cancer later in life. My husband and I were so confident in his skill and professional opinion that we went ahead with the procedure. We were again very satisfied with his skill and care. He is a wonderful asset to our community and we highly recommend him.
