Paul was the first Pediatrician in the Chico area and during the time there were only 5 people with medical degrees. This goes to show how long he has been involved with the community. I was born in '83 and he was my doctor for almost 18 years as well as my younger brothers and sister and I had the chance to see how good he is with his patients. He is just gentle and caring and such an understanding person.

The first time I met Dr. Wasserman, with my 2-month-old son, he asked me, "So which vaccines, if any, are we doing?" Likewise, with our first ear infection, his question was, "How do you want to handle this?" He is fully supportive of breastfeeding, baby-wearing, and other such practices. He tends to prefer a non-invasive approach to most routine childhood ills, avoiding antibiotics unless they are truly appropriate. His staff is excellent as well. Many times, a short phone-chat with Robin or Kim is all that's needed. My son is now 7, and my daughter is almost 5. We love Dr. Wassermann's office.
