Worst experience ever! I ended up with a serious infection after having a complete UPPP, removal of the uvula, soft palette and tonsils, and deviated septum surgery. When I called his office at 8:00 am on a Friday to get an appointment or an antibiotic I was not contacted back until 2:00 in the afternoon and then was told he didn't have any more appointments available and that I would need to come in on Monday or go see a doctor somewhere else. I guess his only concern was his paycheck, which he already received.

My first visit to this office I saw the nurse practitioner, who didn't know what he was doing. He kept swiping through pages on his iPad hoping that my symptoms would pop up on his app, and when they didn't he prescribed a drug that I knew wouldn't work and scheduled me for an appointment for Doug Raedy three weeks into the future.

After my three week wait, Doug Raedy sashayed in 45 minutes after I was escorted into the exam room, smacking his chewing gum and completely unapologetic about keeping me waiting a total of one hour and fifteen minutes to be seen. We started discussing my reason for being there, and instead of asking me to sit back so that he could look into my mouth, he pushed on my shoulder. This guy has absolutely no interpersonal skills and the entire practice, including the nurse practitioner Kevin Ferguson and the administrative staff is in serious need of training in interpersonal skills, time management skills and office management. An apology from Doug Raedy for making me wait and a truthful statement from Kevin Ferguson indicating that he wasn't sure about my symptoms would have gone a long way in making me feel more confident in their ability to treat me, but the hubris really turned me off.

Waited over an hour for my consultation appt. Determined I needed a tonsillectomy. Day of surgery they were running over an hour behind. My mom went to pick up my meds after surgery while I waited in the car. The pharmacist was unable to fill the pain prescription because Dr. Raedy forgot to sign it. By this time the doctors office was closed so my pharmacist had to fight with the after hour/emergency line to get a hold of the doctor to come sign the prescription. Apparently the after hour line does not consider prescriptions an emergency. After getting a hold of the doc the pharmacist could give a few pills until the doctor came in the next day to sign. So my mom had to make another trip to the pharmacy the next day. Fast forward one week..I have developed thrush. Called the nurses line. Waited 2 hours for a call back. By then it was 2pm on a Friday. Shelly agreed it sounds like thrush and she will have Kevin send my prescription in an hour (3pm). I went to the pharmacy after work around 5:15pm. To my surprise my prescription was never called in. The emergency line will not help. At this point my mouth hurts so bad I cannot eat or drink, but the rude emergency operator says I have to wait until Monday. By 10pm that night I could not handle the pain any longer. I made another call to the emergency line. The operator told me Dr. Raedy is on call and he will be calling me shortly. I wait 2 more hours without a call, and called back. He then calls me back around 12:30am and sounds half asleep. Atleast he did call in my prescription this time. Come Monday the pharmacy calls me to let me know they have just received a prescription request from Kevin. She was curious if the meds I received on Saturday were not working. I let her know those were the meds I was suppose to receive on Friday. It's very obvious that there are some communication/workflow issues in this office. Why have an after hour/emergency line if nothing is an emergency? So for my recovery it took 4 trips to the pharmacy, 5 calls from me and my pharmacist to the emergency line. I am happy I am feeling a lot better, but if I ever need another ENT appointment I will NOT be going to Dr Raedy.

The office staff was very polite and I had very little wait time, but I was not happy with the nurse. She was quite rude at times and did not like it when I asked questions. I had the same nurse three times and was very unhappy with her all three times. The doctor was nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the surgery was not a complete success for my deviated septum and I am still under his care, even though it's been about seven months since my surgery.
