I have to admit I was impressed with him because he didn't just stick me on meds for the symptoms, he ran tests to find the cause and actually listened to things I worried could be causing the problems. Staff was great, the only reason I give only four stars is I'm not through yet as I have more problems arising and didn't finish my appointments yet due to winter weather.
I'm writing this because the one other review on Dr. Dunne surprised me; it's as if there are two different doctors being described. I found him to be extremely thorough, asking the right questions, and letting me ask plenty of questions as well. He's quiet, but patient. He spent a generous amount of time with my appointment and we were not rushed. I was given options for my issues, and an appropriate decision was made. Others may prefer a more "animated" Doctor; maybe some would call him old school and traditional, but that worked just fine for me. Every time I call his office I get prompt and complete responses. Am very comfortable with my association with him and staff.
Not sure if the uncaring bedside manner is a standard or trend with neurologists. True, I would prefer a knowledgeable but socially retarded neurologist to a caring quack...but this social aloofness was compounded by a lack of drive in Dr. Dudde, I mean Dunne. I seemed to irritate him with my questions. I left in the same physical state that I left in...partially blinded from a neurological issue that wasn't even diagnosed with real certainty. Just told to suck it up, it will most likely be permanent. Clerical staff was friendly and helpful, as was the nurse. Appointment was a little difficult to make.
