My first visit Dr insisted that I needed to deliver a week early because labor was NOT safe and could tear my scar and kill my baby. He insisted this up until 37 weeks, even after the ultrasound to check babies health and gestation, until he needed to go to New York a week before my due date. When I insisted he still take the baby before he left he said he would not because it wasn't safe. Man lies to suit his schedule and does not care about the safety of your baby. If anything happens to my baby you can bet I will sue him with everything I have. I have had 2 previous bad pregnancies and never felt the way I do about this doctor. He is dismissive and senile. Remembers what is convenient for him and makes up the rest along the way to suit his memory not actual events. I will not use him for my next child and if I could get another Dr this late you can bet I would. Stay away from this man.. he is not respectful of his patients and will treat you like an idiot in the end even if he didn't make you feel that way to begin. All an act to get you until you have no choice but to stay and endure his nonsense.

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary
Did this provider have an entertaining selection of waiting room magazines?
Somewhat, but they need a bigger selection
Has this provider ever cancelled your appointment on you last minute?
Never, they are very reliable.

I am a high risk pregnancy patient. Once my pregnancy became stable enough to transfer from my speacialist I transfered to Dr. Finberg. The office staff was welcoming and very friendly. Assuming that his office staff would be a reflection of his quality I was completely comfortable. That is until the exam was over. The exam was rough and left me uncomfortably sore for more than a day. During the exam Dr. Finberg used no form of lubricants, and was completely unconcerned with how much pain I was being subjected to. After the exam my spouse and I went into his office to discuss my further treatment and management of my pregnancy. Dr. Finberg was rude and arrogant. He is a doctor I will NEVER return to again!!

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

Dr. Finberg is an incredibly knowledgeable physician with a lot of experience in his field. He has seen me through two pregnancies and c-sections, answering my many questions for both, be it over the phone, during an office visit, or even once at midnight on a Friday night! He is always calm and collected, which I found to be reassuring when I was feeling anxious about surgery or other procedures. Recently, he called me at home 6 days after diagnosing a serious case of mastitis to make sure that I was feeling better and had finished my antibiotic. It should also be mentioned that his staff is phenomenal as well...friendly, easy to talk to, always able to answer your questions. Another thing I love about Dr. Finberg's office is that it is a private practice, meaning you always see him, not some random doctor you don't know. Also, the wait time is always reasonable. I think the longest I have EVER waited (and I've been there a lot, through two pregnancies) is an hour. Not bad considering the nature of his practice! I highly recommend Dr. Finberg and staff!!!
