Dr. Powell was a great listener when it came to my GYN concerns, and I felt like I had his fullest attention during my visit. The office staff themselves are very friendly, comforting, and easy to talk to about anything and everything. I have never felt so comfortable with a gynecologist in my life!

Dr Powell and his staff are wonderful. He is very knowlegeable, caring and empathetic. He listens and advises with reasonable course of action. Many of my friends also see Dr. Powell and no one has any complaints.

STILL HAVING NIGHTMARES ... that after my surgery, at my follow up visits Powell, said that I was angry and the reason he uses the drugs he does for surgery, is so you will not remember anything. He then said "You don't remember anything? see they work." He also practices hypnosis as a doctor.
HE THEN SAID, in front of my husband, as I tried to ask him about the procedure . I DID WHAT I WANTED TO DO TO YOU!" I as a patient feel violated like I was raped. I was then fired from his practice. He should be investigated in my opinion.

They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them, This OBGYN was horrible to me. I sure won't be going back, i was fired besides. He does thing HIS WAY. Dr Powell never took interest in me. He doesn't care enough to get to know me and that is poor. He told me he dislikes me after my surgery.
Dr. Powell has alot of anger towards the President and would rather harshly complain about this and swear, instead of addressing my medical issues.
I had severe bleeding the day of a medical procedure. I was bleeding alot upon quick discharge with poor discharge instructions. He did not care only looked to blame me... for what bleeding uncontrollably? I was scared and it is a miracle I did not bleed to death. He also does not believe cystic ovaries are painful for women and will ignore your suffering... and blame me the patient.
His nurse- chaperone- scribe...maureen, in my opinion is very unprofessional. She will not sit back quietly and do her job, she sat there and snickered and laughed at the private details that I was trying to tell the doctor. They both treated me like a big joke, (almost felt private thing between them.) She will toot her own horn,about how professional she is and confidential.... as she tells you of the Drs and patients in the offices that she works out of. I tried to trust this doctor. I did up until after my surgery.
He then calls me angry, i am not. He tells me he don't like me. That is out of his mouth.
This is just my story, no more no less. I have learned my lesson. Some doctors help suffering other ignore it and inflict it. Follow your gut if you go here. Some of the staff is very professional and also nice - i thanked them .
The doctor and his scribe speak volumes, listen to what is really being said, define their words. He didn't like me - sorry i don't feel well and am painful. You tell me women don't have these issues. My testing and other opinions say you are wrong. My body says you are wrong.... You are wrong... i am sick, painful and suffering. Ask most any woman if they can be "womenly painful" go there with your eyes - ears and mind.... open. Make sure you records are accurate too, seems that mine are not. drug allergies not documented.... for one thing. TO ME THAT IS IMPORTANT.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Every question I had was answered thoroughly

Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in

No, not at all
