I was referred to Dr Jeffery Smith by my gynecologist for total hysterectomy with biopsy for cancer. My first consultation with him was amazing. He spent almost 2 hours with me, going over my history asking me questions and answering my questions. The experience left me feeling more aware and not as nervous about the procedure. My surgery was last Wednesday the staff at Summit Medical is amazing, everyone did everything possible to make me as comfortable as they could. The surgery went well, also had a bladder sling and 3 hernia repairs done. I am doing so much better today. Had my first post op follow up and it was great. They are so thorough making sure everything is just right. I can't say enough how impressed I am.

a very affable and caring physician, who took great care of me for my hysterectomy (for fibroids and endometriosis) and urinary incontinence;
My pelvic pain and incontinence is now gone after 3 prior surgeries for the same by local gynecologists during the past 5yrs.
I would highly recommend him!

I have never seen a coupon for this provider, nor do they ever have specials or promotions going on. I don't think they like to help people save money. It doesn't matter how many times I come here, they just cannot seem to remember my name and they make no effort to even try. I'd rather go to someone else who might actually appreciate my loyalty and business. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. It was nice to see them treat their staff with so much respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with all of their staff members. They always made sure that I wasn't in any pain. But, The staff treated me as if I were a criminal. Initially they agreed to a payment plan. Then after the surgery, they wanted payment in full. I did not have it. At that point, Dr. Smith's staff declined any visits until payment in full was received. His staff were witches and the nurses were wonderful!

They made sure every single question I had was answered in terms someone without a medical background could understand. They are always available if I think of any more questions I wanted answered. Their staff is friendly, kind and welcoming. They are so warm and professional. They understood my anxieties and fears and took special care to make the whole experience as good as it could be. I was impressed with the progress I was able to make after my surgery due to Dr. Smith's minimally invasive techniques. All my questions were answered. I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. I feel I am treated as a person they is cared about, not just another cancer case.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I went with expectations of average but was pleasantly suprised. The first appointment took longer than I had planned for, but it included a pap that I was due for anyway. Dr Smith was in the process of training an intern, so she did part of the pap and I was ok with that - we all have to learn somewhere. I was started on homone therapy and have been back for 2 months. This action has improved my quality of life x100% - I am up off the couch for the first time in years, I have a libido like a 17 yr old boy and I've started excercising because I feel so good. Dr Smith is my personal hero who came in, got the info required and got me the help I needed. I'm a huge fan of his!

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. I found the office, but only because I had simple, very clear directions. I wish it had been easier to locate. Additionally, it was 3 hours from our appointment time that we actually saw Dr. Smith, and another hour (most of which spent waiting alone) before we had finished with the appointment.

Before even meeting with him we were required to sign a form saying we would not slander nor commit libel against him. I questioned why his office thought it was necessary even before the initial consultation. We were also required to sign a form giving him full reign, without reservation, in the event of a surgery. Most documents like that which I have signed include a phrase similar to, "when the doctor believes it medically necessary" I do not recall seeing that on his form. We signed his forms with amendments, and did not sign the form agreeing that we had been given the opportunity to consult an attorney before signing (because we had not).

I am also concerned about the fact that his practice offers so many elective surgeries.

To clarify, I am not stating anything I did not personally witness, nor am I telling you not to go to him. He may be a great surgeon.
All I am saying is:
We are currently looking for another doctor. I am not confident in his judgment from what I have witnessed. When my wife's health and our potential children are at stake, I want full confidence in our surgeon.
