I went to see doctor Trotter after being with my doctor in Issaquah for 7 years or so and was not very excited because of the issues I have are complicated. First I went in to see him and needed a blood test and I had to tell him what time I needed to take it to get the best results and he said "oh yeah, right 8am is right for testosterone" (it's when it's the highest). Quick note: if I would have taken it when he said I would have been low no matter what and would have been miss diagnosed, put on testosterone medicine, and wasted my time and money.
I came in and was told that normal range was around 241-830 mine was at 260 (low side of normal is what I said) guess what the doctor said "normal is normal". I have all the symptoms and I mean ALL of them. After that (here is the reason I wrote this) he said "so (my name) what would you like to do about this"? Simple question right? Well maybe if I was fishing and the weight was just under the limit making that "what would you like to do about this" judgment call would have been easy but he is my doctor that I am paying to tell me what I need(not any more).
One more thing, I felt better about the nurse and the time that she spent with me. Between my pulse, blood pressure and weight she spent more time with me. I am just glad I was paying attention to what he was doing.
If you are in Snohomish and need a doctor please do your homework, because as far as I can see Dr. Trotter is still collecting a paycheck for being smart in school.
