This Doctor is asked us to wait an extra week before running lab tests on my daughter. Once we waited and submitted the lab specimen. He went on vacation without informing us we would have to wait an extra week to findout the resluts. This was a big deal because my daughter is suffering from stomach issues, including vomiting (he was clearly aware of the patients simptoms). The doctor should have informed us and possibly designated another doctor to read the lab results instead of making us wait and having my daughter ill and waiting for him to return from his vacation. I called their office and the staff gave me a scripted response "I am sorry, I understand how you feel, but the doctor is unavailable and no one can read your lab results". My issue is the fact that they failed to take the patient's interest in to consideration. If you are treating a patient and part of your treatment is time sensitive or if you can reduce the amount of pain and suffering of a patient, even for a day I think it is worth the doctor designating another doctor to fill in or at least refer the patient to the other doctor's office. Imagine as a parent watching your daughter suffer for two weeks and then you find out you have to wait and xtra week because the doctor failed to consider your situation, thats is unprofessionalism. I really liked this doctor until this situation.

So our insurance change and Dr James Setter in Yuba City CA is on our new list. I called for new patient . They girl confirmed they except our insurance Athem Blue Cross, she tells me that she has to ask the doctor if he will accept my husband!! She will call back. Did not hear back, so I called her. Doctor isn't going to except David as patient.WHY??? we don't go to the doctor enough? So doctor wont make a lot of money? ummm , why would he not? My husband is in descent health? Rude that is if it is not deiscrimination of some kind....

I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place.
