I would give him five stars if he could learn to keep his mouth shut about his political opinions and if he would stop treating me like as if I were a child in front of mr rogers. he can put you down also and make you feel horrible. HIS ABILITY TO HELP YOU DEPENDS IF HE REALLY BELIEVES YOU.

Arrogant and rude. Talks down to patients in a very condescending tone. Becomes very defensive when even the most basic questions are asked. Does not listen. Does not pay attention to the details. This guy is a first class narcissistic jerk.

Nothing but trouble. Wish I could explain why he is such a poor doctor, but if I went into details this site would blacklist this review. He is much too quick to hand out narcotic drugs like candy. Never does the legally required drug screens, monthly/3 monthly checks on patients. When you complain you don't want strong meds, he prescribes them anyway. He is an ultra conservative and greedy. He makes way too many sexual comments and even his nurse Joy tells him to stop. He talks so much that he never listens. He doesn't take notes other than a line or two that you were there. When you talk about issues that he didn't note prior, he accuses you of not telling him. He made several surgical mistakes that he acknowledged but did not correct. I changed doctors when the final mistake almost cost me the ability to walk. The new doctors both told me that Gurskis did such a poor job that he should retire from practice. He is an ambulance chaser that works out of LB Memorial, but follows hospital patients after discharge. His office is small and dirty and his staff doesn't seem to like him which makes the visits very uncomfortable.

Bottom line, this guy not only looks like a clown, but acts like one too, and probably doesn't do as good a medical job as a circus clown would. He is very dangerous and should retire. His patients are mostly very low income, gang types, who he takes advantage of by just giving out narcotics easily so they return and make him money. In 4 years I was never once checked for addiction and neither is he diligent on any follow up to prescribing meds. I wish I never met this guy on the first surgery years ago at the hospital. My life is much worse today for having been his patient. Literally I am permanently injured by his work. Too bad I hate lawyers or this clown would be working at a circus.
