Talked a lot about herself (complains about job) rather than listening which dominates the session. If you have a different opinion, get ready for judgment and personal attacks. Consistently berated us with cheap shots. Who wants to actually pay for that? Not a kind, professional environment for healing or open communication.

Mahnaz's results are an unmitigated failure. Her approach to a recent session had her recommending that we get divorced but that we each start to see her separately. Must be to get double the fees. I would not recommend her to anyone as she is highly biased and her observations are mostly off point. You would do better going to Starbucks and talking to the old guy in the leather chair with nowhere to go. Stay away and find someone who cares.

Dr. Sadre and her assistant always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. She never complains about anything, and I know I can always count on her. She makes herself available via phone, text or e-mail. She makes an extra effort to get to know her clients and find out what they need. I enjoy the articles that she shares with me, the books and movies that she suggests to help me understand my issues better. She always remembers things that I don't even remember sharing with her and makes me feel very important. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and she was by far the best I've ever seen. I love how much attention to detail she shows. She is always so careful and meticulous, making sure that she understands my issues. I love that she is always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. She goes out of her way to explain concepts. I love her holistic approach in treating her clients. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. She helped me feel that my problems were easy to overcome.

As other reviewers, I visited this therapist with my wife for 2 sessions. Both sessions went the same, the whole sessions were focused on me and what my faults were. My wife just was present to contribute little things like "yes he does that" or "i agree it's his fault", she was never questioned or held as being even partially responsible for any of our marriage issues. The second session I started asking the therapist why she was so angry and blaming me for our issues. She refused to acknowledge that our sessions were one sided, despite all logic. Also, the therapist said multiple times that we should consider divorce. Finally, near the end of the second session, with my wife in tears after listening to why I was such a bad person and why we should consider divorce for 45 minutes, I told Ms Sadre that I don't want a divorce, and that we were leaving to see a real marriage therapist. Since then we have seen another female therapist for five sessions, and things are starting to improve in our relationship greatly. Unfortunately, the damage Ms Sadre did to our marriage took multiple sessions to fix with another therapist. I would never recommend this therapist if you are trying to repair a relationship. Another note, her license in Texas was issued in mid 2000 and her NPI was issued at the end of 2006, after looking her up. And she's also not married.

I had the misfortune of going to this "therapist" with my wife who's filed for divorce. From the beginning this lady only listened to my wife and believed every single word of what my wife said. Then she would turn to me and start accusing/berating/insulting/belittling me repeating what my wife said and adding things like "how could you do this?", "you are bad", "you are not responsible" and other such horrible stuff. Instead of being helped, I felt so crappy to listen to not one but two women making wild allegations and trying to put someone down. In the end after 4 seesions, I said I could not take it anymore and left. This "doctor" continued to say bad things to me as I was leaving (more vengeful than my wife, I thought). She even called me by another name. I would not recommend this horror story to anyone else. Please think twice before going to this so-called "therapist".

My appointment felt a little rushed. I understand that they are busy, but I would have liked a little more time. They don't treat their clients equally, Dr Sadre focused on blaming marital issues on the male. Good to see for female independence, but not for marriages. Their office was clean. I can tell they maintain a professional appearance here. They didn't look terrible, but there is definitely lots of room for improvement.
