Dr. Fewsmith is a terrible therapist! I went for treatment for alcohol abuse and the first and only thing he ever wanted to pursue as a course of treatment was 12-step. He never checked in to confirm that was a plan I was okay with and told me that if I didn't throw myself into 12-step, I would die and succumb to alcohol. What I tried to explain to him was that I had a history of abuse and trauma within a past AA community. It wasn't something I was ready to go back to. He didn't listen, told me I knew nothing, and that I would die if I didn't do 12-step. Unless you want a misogynistic, railroading, narcissistic and manipulative therapist, I would not recommend Dr. Fewsmith and would stay away from him as much as possible.
