Elizabeth Dandenell goes way beyond the 'call of duty' when it comes to her work as a therapist. She really is a specialist at working with individuals where clear/ 'textbook' diagnoses are not always apparent, and where "a cookie cutter" approach to treatment simply is not going to work. She provides a respectful, warm, and welcoming environment, where all family members can be heard. She is a rare provider who has been known to make house calls in crisis situations, or when it is determined that the client's needs can be best served "off site". She is flexible and dependable, and establishes a sense of trust and hopefulness, even in situations where the client/family has suffered repeated disappointment from interactions earlier providers. She is willing to take on advocacy poistions where special needs are involved, and where schoolwork is impacted. She speaks "truth to power" when necessary. She not only demonstrates good command of therapeutic techniques, but is adept at modifying interventions to suit the individual. Excellent therapist.
