She likes to be called "Dr. J"....which is totally unstuffy and unpretentious just as her personality is. Dr. J literally saved my life when multiple other therapists had no clue as to how to get me to take responsibility for getting myself into the same stupid situations over and over and when I really thought it had something to do with other factors and not me. I learned that I had to change and then my situation and circumstances would change. It didn't happen overnight, but Dr. J had patience and no agenda as to when exactly I would "get it". She says that everyone works and succeeds on their own timeline and that there will come a day when one wakes up and whatever changes they need to make will just become crystal clear. And guess what? This happened to me. And though this day did come for me, I still have a lot of work to do in order to make those changes. Dr. J is the greatest!

What a completely different experience than all of the other therapists I've see before! Dr. J is interactive from the beginning and so you leave every session feeling that you really got some new perspective to think about before your next session and that you are not as stuck in life as you think you are.

Absolutely! You can tell that he/she really makes an effort to look professional
