The dentist does know his information; and from the two times I have been there, it was easy to schedule appointments. His receptionist was the nicest person there. Other than that, I'm not sure if I caught him on a bad day, but he was so rude during my last appointment. He was demeaning and condescending. I flinched one time and he responds, "enough with the theatrics, ok? I don't have to deal with any of that." Then proceeded to question the truthfulness to every answer I gave him to the questions he asked because he wasn't sure "they were honest or the result of my 'hyperactivity'" (his wording). If you give him an answer he has never heard before, he is astonished because he has "been doing this for 35 years" (also his wording) and more than likely will dismiss it because it's impossible to hear something he hasn't heard before. I wouldn't recommend visiting this office if you can help it.
It was nice of them to offer some sample toothbrushes and toothpaste for me to take home. I was able to figure out which toothpaste I liked without having to buy anything. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. Although I was hoping to be able to watch my favorite show during my dental procedure, they had plenty of magazines for me to look through. My procedure flew by because I had something to distract me the entire time.
