The work performed was in line with most other dentists I have been to, however I was not impressed after being charged double what was originally quoted for some fillings (a $250 difference). When I went to challenge the bill I was told that it was "poor planning" and I should have reviewed my insurance details before I signed any documents. This was not an isolated incident either. I was charged for a fluoride treatment at a previous visit that I did not know was additional. They removed that charge, but only after I complained.
As noted from others who have been to Dr. Smith's office. Be careful to review your bill and always check that they are not putting a different bill in front of you to sign. The office manager blamed all the issues on a previous employee, but this was not just one person doing all of this.
