I was not his typical case back in 1991-94 in San Francisco. Active Hashimoto's Disease and Graves Disease and a weakened immune system. He respected my choice to not kill my thyroid with radiation. He closely monitored me and titrated me off of Tapezole. He dialogued and initiated a series of correspondence to me. He made recommendations and adjusted them according to progress made. Twenty-four years later and doing great on Levothyroxine and compounded Liothyronine. Thanks, Dr. Powell!
