Don't call this provider if you're in a hurry. Every time I call I have to wait on hold forever. I think I got a gray hair the last time I was waiting. I was left in the appointment room by myself, but they eventually returned. Dr. Prause is very quiet and the parent has to ask questions to know what is going on with their child. However, he is a sweet and very intelligent man, expert with ADHD. Staff, I give negative 5 stars if I could. They put you on hold forever! And I really believe that they do that to tie up the lines so they can do other things. Very RUDE!!

He is a brilliant doctor and searches for the answers. He came at 5am every day we were in the hospital. The hard working staff and office are very dedicated. I wouldn't go any where else. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. Just as a side note, this business is really conveniently located and is close to everything. It is right off and freeway and close to all kinds of shops. I I will absolutely return. I had an amazing 15 years there so far-they were by far the best I've ever seen. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my kid's well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. They do a lot of charitable work in our community -blessed to have him here.

I wasn't worried about their equipment. It was safe and well taken care of. I've already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I had there. They almost always have a promotion or special going on. Whether its a complimentary consultation for new clients or a percent-off a certain service, I always get some sort of discount. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. They made no attempt to follow up with me after my appointment. It isn't a big deal, but it does say something about the overall atmosphere of the office.

We've used 3 different pediatricians and he has been the best by far. We are always called into a room on time. They do have a sick and well room, so our kid(s) can be in the appropriate room. The other 2 Peds. we used did not have this. I was impressed. The staff is always nice and talk to our child(ren). I have yet to experience a problem with them. Many of our friends use him as well and that's how we got the referral to use him. Dr. Prause himself is really nice and treats our kid(s) well.

I would like to warn all parents to not use Dr Alvin Prause in Beaumont TX. The staff is horrible, the waiting room is always dirty, they don’t separate the sick kids from the well kids and Dr Prause does not take time with each child. He overloads his schedule so the children don’t get the care they deserve. Go to Beaumont Pediatric or Dr Colbert. Our kids deserve better care and we shouldn’t have to deal with rude receptionist. The billing department is also messed up. Several times they have waited over 2 years to send me a simple bill. The lights went off while we were in the office so I didn’t pay my co-pay that day, I got I bill for it 2 years later! I had already forgotten about it. It is hard enough to keep record of medical bills we don't need the billing department to be unorganized. Please be aware this is my opinion based on my experience with him for the past 7 years.
