I saw Dr. Johnson in the 90's for a rare cornea disease, and he was amazing then. I moved away from TX for over a decade, and every person who tried to treat me or fit me with contacts since I left had been a complete disappointment, telling me that nothing could be done to help me with my vision. I recently had an opportunity to move back to DFW for a new job, and I took it immediately. One of the main reasons was I knew I'd get to see Dr. Johnson again. He is the only one I would trust with evaluating my condition, and trying everything possible to help me. I am thrilled to say that he found options where other doctors found none. The man is a genius. I would recommend him to anyone, whether dealing with a slight case of myopia or a serious disorder. He will do EVERYTHING in his power to help you, and his arsenal of intellect is enormous. Also, the staff at this office is extremely friendly and helpful. In short, you will leave your appointment happy and satisfied - guaranteed!

Dr. Johnson and his staff are simply the best! I had RK surgery in the 1980s that "wore out" and the original surgeon and several other doctors and optometrists I tried all claimed they could no longer correct my vision to 20/20 with glasses or contacts because of my flattened corneas. Dr. Johnson had all the technology available and now my vision is wonderful. I'll never forget the last words of the doctor I saw before Dr. Johnson. "Your vision will always be blurry. You're getting old." (I was 50 at the time, and the doctor was quite a bit older than I). Thanks, Dr. Johnson--I am forever grateful and a lifelong patient.

I have gone to Dr. Johnson for 15 years. He is the best. His staff is very prompt in returning calls, scheduling, etc. and he is very friendly and personable. But the most important thing is, he is a GREAT doc. I have some unique eye issues that other doctors haven't been able to treat very well (I tried other docs while I was in grad school in order to save money....Dr. Johnson is very expensive). Dr. Johnson got me seeing better than any of the other doctors I saw. To me, the extra expense is worth it.
