I do not understand the couple of bad reviews I have come across. I have been going to him for decades. I was sent to several specialist as Oschner and Tulane and still kept Dr. Schoenberger as my eye doctor during. ALL of the other docs said I had NOTHING wrong but thyroidal eyes...Dr. Schoenberger hits the nail on the head every time. I have Myasthenia Gravis and have severe double vision. It is so difficult to see at all and I can see NOTHING out of my right eye during the eye tests. Either the other docs said I had perfect eyes or said I have a stygmatism which is ludacris. This is the third time I am getting tri focals. I knew my eyesight has gotten very bad, Dr. Schoenberger was amazed at how bad I did on the test. I showed him a prescription from a doc from the day before and asked now why would a doc say I have nothing wrong or write me a prescription that says I have a stygmatism and at the same time it says plano, meaning nothing wrong, eyes perfect. This man when I was unempolyed and uninsured and my puppy cut my eye ball fussed at me because I did not go in because I had no money and he saw me for free, never back collected, gave me free medicine and scolded me. He is an excellent example of a physician. He is kind, patient, thorough, comprehensive. I am thankful I have him. And I never write reviews so the fact that I am means even more then my endorsement of him. I am a firm believer that usually cranky people leave reviews just to have one more outlet to gripe at and that is why I do not pay attention to them ever. But I am waiting on my new glasses and pulled this link up to verify the phone number. I cannot for the love of God understand why his office is not inundated with people. He is so efficient and I never wait for an appt. EVER. Thanks Doc. I am only leaving an alias in case I get some crank message from someone and if addressed to Sunshine I will know where it came from. Another patron of course, not the doc's office. I do not know what I love more, the service, the knowledge, the welcoming atmosphere and the guy who makes the glasses or send them off makes me laugh more than most sitcoms, all wonderful people make a wonderful experience. I completely recommend Dr. Schoenberger and everyone in his office.

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff is very friendly and professional. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. The office was easy enough to find. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. The doctor has horrible bedside manner! Didn't even introduce himself! Just walked into the room and looked at me like why are you here?

Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. I never had to doubt their qualifications. They made their credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer. It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time.
