Dr Leroy Owens was one of the BEST Pediatricians that I have ever met. Very well informed, very patient and took time with the young patients and their parents. His bedside manner was awesome!!

Dr Owens was very rude and ask my 7 yr old grandaughter very inappropiate questions regarding sex, babies and breast. He ask did she know if men have babies? He indicated children at age 6 should be told about sex, babies and growing breast. I was shocked angry and appalled that he would ask her that. I told him that was her parents job to pose those questions at the appropiate time not his job to do that. Dr Owens is 74 yrs old and shold stop practicing. It is not his job to dot that and shold be the job of the parents. I feel is rude and shold stop practing as a pediatrician. He is a dirty old man in my books.

Basically too make a long story short. I am a mother of 4 and all 4 of my kids goes to Dr. Owens. Even myself and my 3 brothers were patients of Dr. Owens and I always told him "by you taking such good care of me and my family, once I start my family my children will definitley be your patients." Only dislike I have is he stop caring for patients after the age of 18, but other than that I absolutely love Dr. Owens and his staff are wonderful and super friendly. They hold conversations with their patients while they wait to be seen! The office is GREAT honestly.

I couldn't believe how patient they were with first-time mothers. It didn't matter how basic the first-time mother's question was, they were always happy to spend time explaining everything to them. I trust them over any other doctor I've ever been to. I'm never unsure of their motives, and I've never doubted that they've always had my child's best interest at heart. They had a couple of interesting magazines, but their selection wasn't very impressive. This Doctor and his staff are exceptional. It's just like one big happy family. They make you very comfortable.

After I told them that I'd like to seek a second opinion, not only did they not get upset, they encouraged it. It made me trust them and their motives all the more. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me.
