My husband's doctor. He feels he takes good care of his medical condition. Wait is not too long. He asks appropriate questions, orders regular blood tests, and adjusts his medications accordingly.

I left mostly annoyed. He is the ONLY endocrinologist that has ever told me that hypothyroidism has nothing to do with weight gain when not only did I experience weight gain once I had hypothyroidism (I was an EXTREMELY thin person my entire younger life, up until 20ish - size 3, 5''11") but it is well-known and plastered over every single online site that the two go hand-in-hand. I left wondering what HE learned in school compared to every other endocrinologist! Seriously, doesn't the thyroid have everything to do with metabolism?? It took a very long time for my thyroid to become regulated with medicine and he's telling me it wasn't possible to have gained weight from an under active thyroid? Sorry, but I completely disagree. His "humor" is very sarcastic as well, which, as a patient suffering I did not appreciate very much. Smart in many areas, but I personally didn't like him, his condescending ways, or his views on weight gain/thyroid issues, which I think is/was a very important part of the doctor-patient relationship.
