When I started treatment here I was really weak from doing chemotherapy previously. However I tolerated chemo here just fine, except for some nausea on the day of treatment. By the next day I felt fine. The chemo I had prior to coming here knocked me down and was in bed for a week after each treatment and then took another week or two to get feeling normal again. Then had to repeat it all over again. But the really bad news is the chemo did not work and I suffered for nothing. Things here are very different. I have tolerated all treatments and my cancer has receded. I do not understand why this type of treatment is not available everywhere. But I am happy to be here.
