1 celery stalk, chopped
1 onion, chopped
½ cup chopped mushrooms
1 8-ounce can sliced water chestnuts, drained
3 tablespoons minced parsley
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 ½ cups water
1 8-ounce package herb seasoned stuffing mix
Preheat an oven to 350⁰F.
In a large saucepan, add the celery, onion, and mushrooms, stirring occasionally until softened. Stir in water chestnuts, parsley, sage, and water. Bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and stir in the stuffing mix. Transfer to a casserole dish and bake until crispy on top.
