Dr. Sheets received her B.A. from Birmingham-Southern College. She earned her M.D. from University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine and M.P.H. from University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health. She completed her residency at Johns Hopkins in the Urban Health Combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program.
Dr. Sheets is also passionate about medical education. She served as the inaugural Assistant Chief of Service for Ambulatory Medicine for Osler Medical Housestaff Training Program (2023-2024). She continues to teach regularly as a preceptor for resident learners in the Harriet Lane Pediatrics Acute Care Clinic and the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center Medical Clinic. She also serves as a Firm Faculty Clinical Coach for the Osler Program's Longcope Firm.
Lindsay Sheets
Dr. Lindsay Sheets is Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include internal medicine, pediatrics, primary care for patients of all ages with developmental disabilities and other complex childhood-onset conditions, and medicine for patients who are unhoused. Dr. Sheets provides primary care for patients at the Hopkins PACT (Pediatric-informed Adult Care and Transition) Clinic and consultative care for patients at the Pediatric Complex Care Collaborative (PC3) for the Johns Hopkins Children’s CenterDr. Sheets received her B.A. from Birmingham-Southern College.
