Dr. Tolat was drawn to hospital medicine by the variety of conditions he would be called on to treat, working as a team member with specialists as needed, and the joy of interacting with and advocating for his patients.

Dr. Tolat, a native of Houston, Texas, has a special connection to Blessing and the region it serves. His wife is a native of the Carrollton, Illinois, area and a graduate of Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing and Health Sciences. They met in Houston and are happy to relocate near his wife’s family.
