Kala Grant, FNP-C, earned a Master of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University in 2019. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Grant has comprehensive experience in pediatric, postpartum, perinatal, newborn and medical/surgical nursing, with a focus in patient health needs and patient/patient family satisfaction, specializing in pediatric patients. She has been recognized as an exceptional pediatric nurse and has an excellent record of mentoring nursing students and new nurses. She joins Athens Family Practice after serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner for a local pediatrics clinic. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, baking, painting and reading.
