Dr. Jeffrey Brown is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He earned his B.S. degree with honors from the University of Miami (Fla.) in 1976 and received a M.S. Degree in Medical Physiology from Ohio State University in 1978. He attended the Medical College of Ohio (Toledo) where he received his Medical Degree in 1981. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society at that time. He completed his internship and residency at Akron General Medical Center, where he served an additional year as Chief Resident. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of South Florida in 1987. Dr. Brown is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, Tennessee Medical Association, and Knoxville Academy of Medicine.
