Dr. Florido completed medical training at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, graduating cum laude. She received training in Internal Medicine at Boston University, where she was also selected to serve as a chief medical resident. She subsequently completed fellowships in cardiology and advanced heart failure at Johns Hopkins and a Master’s in Health Sciences at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, receiving numerous awards.
