Dr Walls is a fellowship-trained transplant surgeon who performs liver, kidney, small bowel, and pancreas transplants. He specializes in end-stage organ failure, organ transplantation, and improving donor organ quality through machine perfusion. He also focuses on organ preservation and minimally invasive surgeries, including laparoscopic and robotic procedures. Dr Walls takes time to educate patients about their condition and treatment options. He completed a fellowship in transplant and hepatopancreaticobiliary surgery at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and earned a Master of Public Health in epidemiology from Rutgers University.
