Kira was born in Vietnam but grew up in the Twin Cities. She was taught from a young age the importance of work ethic, culture, and devotion to family. Due to her parents'€ lack of fluency in the English language, she grew up watching her parents struggle while navigating a complex healthcare system. Her parents'€ struggles played a key part in Kira'€s decision for her career ambitions. As a nurse practitioner, she is committed to being there for her patients to help make their healthcare journey less daunting in hopes of making a positive impact on their care experience.
